Every item you purchase at HBC is 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Some items may fall under a manufacturers warranty, in which case some time may be needed to get an okay on your return from the manufacturer.

To return an item, you can use a USPS return label that we will send you to print out on your computer. $7.95 will be deducted from your refund for returned items using the pre-paid USPS label. 

To return an item without the USPS return label, please follow these steps:

  1. Box up the item(s) you’re returning including all tags and original packaging that came with the product.
  2. Write the RMA number (Your order number) on the box.
  3. Please include a copy of your receipt, or invoice, if you no longer have one of these, a letter with the following information:
    • Name
    • Address
    • Order Number
    • Daytime and Evening Phone numbers
    • E-mail address

  4. Please specify whether you would like an exchange, or a refund.
  5. For your protection Insure the package and obtain a tracking number from your shipping carrier.
  6. Ship to:

All Returns are subject to a 10% Restock fee (minimum of $5.00)

You have 21 days, from receipt of your item, to file for a return. Products that are returned to Hostel Board Company damaged, missing pieces, soiled, altered or torn will be refused and returned to you at your expense.

All refunds will take from 7 - 21 days to process. Your credit card company may wait until the next billing cycle to process your order.

Removal or alteration of a product's tags or accessories will automatically void your HBC Return Policy.

Products that are returned to Hostel Board Company damaged, missing pieces, soiled, altered or torn will be refused and returned to you and you will be charged $10.00 for return postage.

We want you to enjoy your items purchased from Hostel Board Company. But we also know, sometimes you will have to return an item, so we try to make it as simple as possible for you.

The RMA is your order number, please make sure the order number is displayed in the subject of the email. Let us know when you're sending in a return so we can keep an eye out for it and credit your account.

Save all packaging and accessories for any item that is returned. All original equipment, accessories, tags, manuals, warranty cards and packaging must be returned with your item in order to process your return.

We will pay return shipping on any item returned as a result of our mistake. Otherwise, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Damaged items cannot be returned to Hostel Board Company. We check every item before shipping to ensure the item is in excellent condition. Damage claims are to be made to the carrier for damages in transit.

An item returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at our discretion, unless otherwise required by law. 

All items sold through Hostel Board Company are subject to our Policy and Agreement.

Clearance and Sale Item Returns
Returns are accepted for clearance and sale items for store credit only.
