General Shipping

Your items will be shipped out usually within 48 hours, if not sooner, of your order being placed.  Items Ship Monday through Friday. International orders and orders shipped to an address other than the billing address may take longer.  Most items are shipped from the East Coast and will take anywhere from 3 - 8 days to arrive after shipping.  Of course, you can opt for over night or other expedited services. Overnight and expedited shipping orders ship Monday through Saturday.

Free Shipping: If you place an order any time before 3PM Eastern Time on Monday, your item will be packed Monday night and ship on Tuesday. All orders will ship the day after the order is placed. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will not ship until the following Monday.

Overnight Shipping Example: If you place an order on Tuesday, your item will ship Wednesday and arrive to you on Thursday.

Free Shipping

As long as you live in the US, including Alaska and Hawaii, any item you purchase, from HostelBoardCompany.com's online store, will be shipped for free. Shipping charges will apply for overnight or other express shipping methods.  Free shipping takes anywhere from 3-8 business days in the lower 48.

International Shipping

International shipments are sent via USPS. Tracking is generally not available on International orders.

It is the customer's responsibility to pay all duties, import fees and taxes on items purchased. This includes, but is not limited to VAT, Tariffs, Fines, Levies, Cleaning, Inspection fees or any other charges imposed, which may be imposed, by the addressee nation. The customer is responsible for all import documentation, certification and any other requirements of the addressee nation, which may be required to obtain your shipment.

Estimated International Express shipping (2 kg) cost from $19 - $50 USD, depending on destination and total weight.

Delivery time is estimated 5 - 10 days, depending on destination and your country's postal services. Delivery may take as long as 30 days for some destinations. Tracking is rarely available for international destinations.

Insurance is provided on all international deliveries. If an international package is lost in the mail, an insurance claim will be filled 30 days from date of delivery. After an investigation by the USPS, a claim will may be paid. The purchaser will receive a refund for the full purchase amount, including shipping charges.

Each country has its own laws and regulations concerning duties, taxes and customs fees. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to know the laws and regulations concerning importing items from the US.
